Working on events gives me all kinds of creative energy. I love to hear about what inspires my clients. Its what makes each event sparkle in a unique light of its own. Each celebration has its own story that I am honored to play a part in telling.
As the first to be born and raised in the South, my Nana called me the Southern Belle of the family. This lovely lady taught me that a smile and some warm hospitality can go a long way. I was born in a quaint small town in Alabama called Anniston and raised just 10 minutes from the beach in Lake Worth, Florida. When I am not working on events you can catch me exploring the beautiful nature in Asheville with my love, wakeboarding on the lake in Palm Beach, stopping traffic to save an animal (usually a turtle), or at Starbucks with my betsie Bella!
Losing both of my parents at an early age is a constant reminder to cherish each of life’s precious moments, it's why being a wedding and event planner is so dear to my heart. My clients entrust me with their most sacred events. Every celebration has its own set of charm and detail specific to its host. As your event designer, it is my mission to highlight all of the details and create timeless memories for you and all of your guests. ..those details make the event all yours, and no one else’s.
My family is known for crafting, so I grew up surrounded by the thrill of taking on new projects. I’m happiest when I’m working on something that will make people smile. When I work on an event, the ideas begin to flow like a current. To me all of the details are the most exciting part of the process. I swoon over beautiful fabrics, materials, and blooms.
My love affair with event planning...
Classic romance has always inspired my creativity and takes me back to why I love being a wedding planner. As a child, I used to sit on the couch with my Grammy and beg her to tell me about how she met my Grandpa. She said, she remembers coming home and telling my Nana that she met a boy that was sooo cute in a bathing suit. Ha, ha! As an adult this has not changed a bit - I still love romance stories. I must have watched Sweet Home Alabama five million times!
